Hello, Hello, Hello! Hey there! First off can I just say how great it is now that the weather is finally clearing up here in Utah?! For the longest time it felt like we were never going to see the sun! Not only is it getting warmer but the rain was good for something after all and everything is already SO GREEN!! I am loving it! Thank goodness the clouds have parted and the forecast is looking a little brighter!
I am not going to lie I've been pretty busy lately, I have been trying to get all caught up from my week off in Hawaii ( I didn't prep as well as I hoped, said yes to too many things and didn't allow enough time back to get the ball rolling again)
Just the other day I peeked out from my mile long to do list to see a million pictures of Justin Timberlake staring me down on my feed letting me know.... ITS GONNA BE MAY! WHAAAT?! How exciting! Summer is just around the corner! I have edited just about all of my Senior sessions for the class of 2017 and CANNOT wait for some camping with my boys!

Me? - To be perfectly honest, I have been running around trying to make sure I keep to all the commitments I have made and follow my planner to a T so I make sure nothing is left out. Some weeks I seriously have to be strategic in my day and write down the word "shower" so I don't lose out on that window of "free time"
I am doing fine, a little sleep deprived but I'm making it through. It is however time that I remind myself that it is okay to tell people no. Regardless of how blatantly they display their disappointment in me. I need to start saying no to things that I don't want to do and yes to the things I want to do more of. Like just yesterday Morgan and I stopped all productivity and took advantage of Jimmy John's Customer appreciation day and got ourselves a $1 sub! I want to do more of that! A little less nose to the grind and more spontaneity. I guess what I'm getting at is... balance. More Balance.
How am I? When was the last time you've asked yourself that? How are you doing? how are you feeling? Do you like your answer? if not, what can you do to fix it? I know that personally, I am needing to put myself first. I need to take care of ME before I can do favors and take care of everyone else. Ive been spreading myself so thin that I don't have anything to give to my family and that is what I need to change. Does anyone else have this problem? There are a few things this month I am going to work on. ( Baby steps )
1. I am going to prioritize my workouts, no more booking things and pushing those to the side because I don't have enough hours in the day.
2. I am going to edit my personal pictures and videos. For some reason I have felt like editing those is something I can only do if i am caught up on everything else and let me tell ya, If I keep waiting it will never be done!
